Has the White House bungled the battle against terrorist financing?

I'm Jim Sterngold, sitting in for Warren Only, and this is To the point from Public Radio International, a daily look

at the issues Americans care about most. After the horrors of 9-11, President Bush said he would

not only attack terrorists, but he issued orders to shut down their financing. A key front in this

war, he said, was the Holy Land Foundation of Texas. This week, the prosecution of the foundation

collapsed, and a jury issued no guilty

verdicts. Has the White House hurt the war on terror? On reporter's notebook later on, it seems like

a coup from Microsoft. Yesterday, it won the right to invest in Facebook, a social networking site,

but it paid a whopping $240 million for less than 2% of this tiny company is the tech bubble back.
