Thanks for tuning in this week to the NTT20 Monday podcast.

It just hits a little different at this stage of the season, doesn't it?

What an exciting anti-penultimate, or pre-penultimate, as George likes to say, weekend in the EFL.

It was. Two more to go now. And, well,

the dominoes are starting to fall on this episode. We will be waving goodbye to Watford. We will

be discussing Hull City's promotion, a couple of others teetering on the brink of promotion,

and a few who have fallen through that very specific of football cliches,

the relegation trap door. I'm Ali Maxwell. George Ehrlich's with me. BBC Radio Five Lives,

George Ehrlich, this week. Yeah, it was awesome Saturday on Five Live. It was a bit different because

normally I either do a little hit before the games, a little hit after one, after them, or I'm on during.

And this time, we did both.

So I had a 12.30 chat with Steve Crosman and Andy Reid.

And then I was on for the whole of the second half of the games as the goals went in with Steve Crosman and Richie Wellens.

And then back on for Sports Report at 5.30 to go over what had happened.

And I must say, you know, I've, I've praised Mark Chapman on this podcast a few times.

Steve was unbelievable on Saturday.

The way I cannot begin to imagine how he was staying on top of everything that was going on.

He was consistently reading out all the permutations and what had to happen for each team to go up and down in a way that was quite, um, useful for me as a, as a, as somebody who was having to answer the

question. So for the listener, I mean, it was amazing. So I even texted him after it was just saying

that was unbelievable, mate. Well done. Um, so yeah, it was really good fun, and I'm back on again on Saturday.

So hopefully more drama to unfold then.
