host of Martini Shot, co-host of the Glob Podcast, and all around fine gentlemen, filling

in for Jim Garrity today and tomorrow, Rob, how are you?

I'm doing very well.

Happy to be here, right?

You made me sound so busy in that intro, I keep thinking, why do I feel like I'm not

doing anything?

That's just, those are my work habits, not yours, you don't have to worry about me.

Well, maybe your full-time job is accumulating titles, so, I mean, which was accumulating money,

but I guess this was the give you instead of money, right?

Exactly, exactly.

Well, in order for our being here, we decided we couldn't really make up our minds about

which Good Martini to do today, so we're just going to do both and treat the first one kind

of like a little tease, because Jim and I have talked a lot about the pathetic PR stunt

being put on by the Texas State Democratic lawmakers who fled Austin, so they wouldn't

have to vote on a voting reform bill, that they, of course, considered draconian, really

just kind of goes back to the way things were before the pandemic, and actually expands

early voting in a lot of different ways, doesn't allow counties to set their own standards
