Welcome to the Vaughnard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here on the magnificent Monday edition of the yard and what a day it is.

It's always great to be able to celebrate after a victory. We got one, an impressive one, against a team that had a winning record.

How cool is that? It's been a while.

So we're going to take some time to savor this one. We're also going to talk about Mississippi State going to a bowl game for the 11th straight year.

And listen, I'm not going to listen to any apologies about that.

The rules are the rules.

There's no bow eligibility requirements this year.

The SEC office went out and secured 12 SEC ball tie ends.

We're in that group.

And that's what everybody agreed to from the beginning.

We're getting a chance to go.

And so there's no asterisk on this.

It is what it is.

And I have read some comments from some snarky media members that I think are completely a joke.

And so we're going to unapologetically go to Dallas, Fort Worth, and we're going to go beat Tulsa.

That's what we're going to do.

So go ahead and get on board with that, get excited about it.

If you can't make the game, plan a party around it and your New Year's Eve

celebration should include Mississippi State beating the golden hurricane of Tulsa

because that's what we're fixing to go do and I get little sick and tired of

there's some people in our fan base it's I mean I love all of y'all but some of y'all make

my head hurt it's like we want to impress our Ole Miss friends that's why I don't think it's I don't I love all of y'all, but some of y'all make my head hurt. It's like we want to impress our Ole Miss friends.
