As always, I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here on the Hump Day edition of the yard.

Let's call it the, oh, I don't know, the Governor's Cup routine day of the year.

That may be a bit wordy. You know, and the sun is shining here in Starved.

It is a beautiful day. And I'm sure the sun is shining in Oxford today, too, except we, in Starved,

we get to see the reflection of the sun in the Golden Egg as well as the Governor's Cup.

So we'll take that. And so we're going to get into that.

We're going to talk about the game that was, talk about a great, great atmosphere at Pearl.

It was great.

It's a record crowd there, a facility record crowd, not just a governor's game record crowd, the largest crowd to ever witness a sporting event at Trust Mart Park and Pearl.

And so tip of the cap, to state no-Miss fans alike, it was pretty much a partisan Mississippi

state crowd.

I would say, you know, we're in the press box and we're somewhat, you know, kind of, you're

removed from some of that.

But I would say 60-40 Mississippi and then and late in the ballgame

9010 Mississippi State which is what you want you know I mean you want those uh yeah that's the

the descending fan you kind of want them out of there so you can kind of enjoy its last few outs

but we'll get into some of that we'll talk a little bit about the NFL draft that's going to begin on Thursday and so mrs b state obviously a school of interest for many uh NFL programs

and NFL franchises as we kind of move into that so a lot to discuss today but first and foremost
