As always, I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here on the Hump Day edition of the yard. I'm later than I wanted to be. And I apologize because I told you I was going to do better, but I'm later because I was waiting around and there's so much going on. And this show, we're not going to talk about the flag much. I'm just going to get it done in the intro and we're going to move on.

But so, you know, 2 o'clock today, the state Senate gaveled back into session and was only

in session for a short time and then adjourned for the day, I believe, until 10 a.m.

tomorrow.

A lot of discussion about where things stand.

I understand the thinking is that the two-thirds majority is probably close in the House,

but still a long way to go in the State Senate.

And I don't expect there to be any resolution until Friday.

As a good friend of mine said, it's the big PR move.

You do it late Friday, you release it, and everybody leaves town,

and then you don't have to deal with all that.

And so that's probably how that thing will go down.

So I don't expect any news today or tomorrow.

We'll see what Friday brings. And with that said,

we're done talking about the flag today. I will encourage you, make your voice know,

no matter what side of the issue that you're on, we are a democracy. Call your state senators
