Welcome to the Boneyard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here in their early morning hours of Monday.

And what a great Monday it is because the Diamond Dogs take the series against the University of Alabama.

Man, it feels so good to win. Yes, we have dug ourselves quite a deep hole here. We're trying to dig ourselves out of it.

We talked last week. If the state was going to make a move, it had to start this weekend. Okay,

it did. Now it's time to kind of keep the momentum going. But here's the deal, too. As we discussed

on Saturday show, because we had to record that on Saturday because of the

change in schedule on Friday, still some inconsistency with the team.

And some of that is when you have young players, there's going to be some up and down.

And we don't have a ton of young players, but we're having to count on some guys that are

relatively young, as you guys know.

Very talented freshman class at times has taken their lumps.

They've done a pretty good job at the plate this past weekend.

But, you know, I'd love to say we're back.

I don't believe that just yet.

But I do know that we went out and gutted it out and won a big ball game on Saturday to take a series.

Now, I'm going to go ahead and film my oats a little bit this morning.

Last Sunday, as soon as I left, Dirty Noble Field, I'm telling everybody around there, we're going to have a winning week next week.

I said it on Facebook.

I said on the show, Some people were skeptical, but we did. I'm going to give you a hot

take right now. States going to have a winning week again this week. And that's big news because

you know who we're playing. We're going to get to that later in the show too. I believe this team, I won't say that we've turned the corner.
