And as always, I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here on the hump day edition of the yard. Back to Back Day is recording. Should be able to get this thing up for you early afternoon. And, you know, we'll see how things go. But the reality of it is, is we're in football mode now. A lot of football to talk about today on the show. We're not going to talk about baseball at all. How about that? Now I've got to talk about baseball, though.

probably friday because we're going to do a uh post portal wrap-up uh one-on-one interview with chris

simonis uh friday or saturday i guess but uh you know we'll see how it goes. But no baseball today. You probably have a little

baseball fatigue the portal season. Been kind of up and down for the Bulldogs, but we'll talk

more about that later in the week. But a lot to discuss. Listen, I hope you guys got out and voted

yesterday. It's one thing that I am very much a proponent of.

I know, listen, there's so many political experts on Facebook and Twitter, and it's amazing to me.

It's amazing.

You know, I am just a meager scribe from small town Mississippi.

That's who I am.

I got a cool job. Got a cool head of hair, got an

amazing wife, four incredible kids. But I know a lot about a little, and a little about a lot.

But there are some people out there that I'm amazed. They were, I guess, virologist during the pandemic. They were experts on that,

what we should all do, how we should wear our mask, if we should get vaccines and all that kind of stuff.

And if we should get 20 of them, you know, they were that. Then they shifted, you know, vaccines and all that kind of stuff. And if we should get 20 of them, you know, they were that. Then they shifted, you know, into climate change experts.

And then now of a sudden they're, you know, political columnist. And there's always, you know,

certain element of that, too, that's involved with every topic that

comes along. Some of you know everything about everything. And I am envious. I am. I wish I knew as much

as many of my Facebook friends did. I do. And so the thing that I try to do when it comes to matters of political standing is I do my own research.

I try to find people that align with my values. And then I vote for them. I don't just go in there and vote along party lines. I vote for individuals. I vote for ideology. Um, you know, I've got my own
