As always, I am your good friend and host, Steve Robertson here on the Maroon Friday edition of the yard.

Hope it's your well today. Hope it's a payday for you.

Hope it's your sporting your maroon today to let everybody know where you stand.

On Fridays we wear a maroon.

And so I hope that you're able to celebrate Maroon Friday and the way in which you choose.

It's wonderful that we live in a country that we can do that.

We are Mississippi State Bulldogs and we're not the least bit afraid to say that.

And so I encourage you as always to identify yourself with the winners that reside here in Starryville, Mississippi.

There's a lot going on.

It's a college football weekend, obviously.

We live for this time of year.

We really do.

I mean, it's exciting.

And I know there has been a little bit of malaise this week and some disappointment.

We've documented that on the show.

We're not going to relive that today.

But, you know,

hope springs eternal this time of year. And a very winnable game for Mississippi State against

Bowling Green. We're going to preview the SEC schedule here in one of our first segments of the show.

But this is a ballgame too. The Mississippi State should win handily. If we don't win this

game handily, I will agree with some of those out there that would say, you know what? Maybe it's not going to go the way we hoped. This is a game that state is favored by 30 plus points in. State should be able to pretty much do as they choose. This is going to bowl down the state's level of execution. It's not going to bowl down the bowling green. Now, they've got some interesting matchups out there. Zach Arnett pointed out, we've got a couple pretty skilled whiteouts, and so we're going to have to play exceptionally well. But I also think it's important, too, that this is a team that has not allowed many sacks, is not thrown many interceptions.
