Robertson here on the Maroon Friday edition of the yard. Hope you're wearing Maroon today. Even though we're not playing a ball game, even though we're not taking a trip, we're still Mississippi State. Folks, it's time to celebrate our Bulldog Ness on Fridays. I wish Maroon Friday would be a bigger deal.

You know, once was, that was a big thing.

It once was. That was the big thing.

It was on Fridays we wore maroon.

And I remember Scooter Scott Strickland tweeting out Maroon Friday pictures and folks. That was really cool.

And I hope that's something that we continue to do.

I know in football season it becomes one of those things people are

really excited about. But, you know, I'm a Bulldog, 365, and then 52 weeks out of the year.

I don't even take a day off on Labor Day. I'm proud to be Mississippi State Bulldog. I hope you are

as well. And so look forward to maybe perhaps Maroon Friday being a bigger deal as we kind of move

forward with all this.

A lot to discuss today, a lot of reaction to, for those of you that missed it, about the NCAA

legislation that was passed earlier this week that would allow partial scholarship boards

to be able to stack financial aid to kind of provide those students an opportunity to pay

for school a little easier. It's great. It's an, it was an antiquated model anyway. And there

a lot of people out there again that really are not baseball programs, and I get it. Baseball is

kind of a drag financially on their athletic department.

Not everybody has it as good as we do. And speaking of that, I don't know if you saw that

wrote an article yesterday about how Mississippi State among the SEC's most physically fit,

which means we're able to put a competitive program on the floor and on the field and still
