Welcome to the Boneyard with Steve Roberts, and as always, I am your good friend and host Steve Roberts.

And it's already Monday. It seems like the weekend just flies by. And then, of course, football season gets here, and then the weeks, it just seems like it takes forever to get back to the weekend because we're so excited to see the Bulldogs play again.

But, yeah, I'm happy to kind of see things moving along a little bit.

You know, it's already August, and we've had some unseasonably cool weather the last few days.

I don't know how long that's going to last, but it was cool to be out of football practice today.

We're going to talk a little bit about some observations and just, you know, some talk from hearing the players speak.

I want to commend Brandon Languant everybody involved with Mississippi State athletic communications.

19 interviews last week.

And we won't get that many this week.

But we do have a very busy schedule in front of us.

Media opportunities most days this week, including today, tomorrow,

and then I think Thursday is the day off.

We'll get levy on Sunday after the scrimmage.

But we're going to get players just about every media opportunity,

even when practice is closed.

But yeah, I mean, you know, so we're getting an opportunity to hear from your bulldogs kind of about

what's happening out there what their expectations are and listen a lot of it

becomes bowler plate stuff it does you know guy everybody's working hard everybody's

doing well we're making some progress I like it when guys are very candid, and they have been.

But we're going to talk a little bit about a few things that we've learned.

I know you guys are getting up to speed.

It's 26 days, man.
