With that said, on with the show. his death in 1947, Henry Ford had built a massive family empire that in turn

fed a thriving metropolis in Detroit. Thanks to him, Detroit became a crown jewel among American cities.

One historian estimated that Henry had donated nearly $40 million in his lifetime

to charitable causes and community enrichment.

He built a world-class hospital in Detroit, as well as the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield
