Where are you joining us from, Annie? Oh, from Southern California. Today, I'm actually in San Diego.

the new book. But first, could we start with some of your own experience? Because Annie, I know

that you've successfully scaled a business and led teams and leaders yourself. So thinking back to

that time, what was that like? What was some of the challenges and some of the lessons learned?

So first of all, I've always loved business, but I started in business in my family's business.

We had a business called the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.
