Hello, friends. Welcome back to the podcast. I hope your week is treating you well.

0:15.2

Happy Wednesday, happy middle of the week. I hope the midweek slumps haven't hit yet. Too hard today.

0:22.5

They've hit me a little, but you know what, we survive. And it's only two more days to the weekend,

0:28.8

so I can't really complain. Speaking of, for those of you who've been following along on the

0:34.8

Sowani journey, I just wanted to update you that I am adjusting well. And I kind of had this

0:43.2

observation where at home in Asheville, I love our space. I love our home. It feels great to me.

0:53.2

It's super comfortable. It's aesthetically. It feels like us, you know, and it's it's very clean

1:00.5

I have individual friends that I feel that way about, but not like a group. You know what I mean?

1:42.4

But here in Soani, I mean, I just feel like the community here is lovely and incredible and

1:50.1

probably the absolute highlight of this experience. I just look, love, adore so many of the people here

1:57.7

and the experiences that we get to have with them like last night. We did an open mic night at

2:03.4

this little restaurant called the Blue Chair. And it was like half MFA students from the program here.

2:11.6

And then like half older people who live in the community. And then there was like a couple of

2:17.2

high school kids and then me and OV and I both read. And it was just really sweet and really fun

2:27.3

and incredible to hear everybody and to get to share. I loved it. And then as we know, the home

2:36.0

space is not my vibe. It doesn't feel super comfortable to me. And so it's almost like what I have at home,
