I pray that our time together is a valuable for all of us to leave here edified as we seek to become BYU. The beginning of a new

semester fall is such an exciting time it means fresh starts, renewed growth, and discipleship.

Nearing Brigham Young's Cescucentennial, the second half of our second century,

our campus is charged with becoming the Christ-centered prophetically directed University of

prophecy. You've heard that phrase. But we're not there yet. Becoming starts with a desire.
