while you clean. I hope everyone's having a great day today. This is episode 47. And speaking of the episode number,

Apple has made some new changes about what they require in a podcast. And they sent out an email

today to thousands of people stating that they don't want

podcasters to include the episode number in the title.

So a lot of shows still have that.

A lot of the big shows still have that.

But as a small podcast, I really can't afford to break a rule and take a chance on getting deleted or something like that.

And I realize that most of you are listening on other apps.

But it's still important that I

follow the Apple guidelines because in some ways how I rank on Apple Podcasts slash iTunes

kind of affects the distribution of my podcast onto some of the other apps and how I rank on those.

So I went ahead and removed all of the episode numbers from my titles.

Now, maybe on the app that you're using, it numbers the episodes automatically or something,

so maybe this doesn't affect you.

But I'm just explaining it in case you're seeing a difference. And, you know, I did like the idea of numbering it because a podcast that I listen to does that.

And it kind of helps me keep track of where I am.

But in light of these new regulations, I had to remove those from the actual titles.

So a couple ways to keep track of where you are.

Your app itself should keep track of which one you're listening to,

whichever podcasting app you use.

But also, I'm going to go ahead and say the number at the beginning of each episode going forward from here on out.
