privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement and I am just so glad

Hello my friends, happy Monday. Several people wrote me and said, don't put your Monday

podcasts. Well I may not do it right now. I'm going to see if I can carry my workload.

If all of you would just send me somebody who was a housekeeper and if they could do all

the dishes, all the house cleaning, all the changing of sheets for the company we have and all

of the other things I need to do then I would be able to do podcasts more easily. Anyway,

I'm going to do a pretty quick little intro podcast today. I just couldn't not do it because

I feel like some of the things that I have learned and done in the past little while

is really pertinent to what we are going to be talking about today. Today we are talking

about marriage. It's something that I get a lot of questions about. So, Clay and I have

been married 41 years. Woohoo. As I look back, marriage begins for all of us with some

kind of romantic ideals or my life will be easier or whatever it is. And then for me,

life happened. 22 moves, eight international moves, four children, three miscarriages, morning

sickness for nine months of pregnancy. I almost died from the blood loss from one miscarriage

being rushed to the hospital. We have had car wrecks, financial challenges, illnesses,

a fire in her home, three different houses had floods where we had to get all the furniture

out. Oh my goodness, you know how that is. Church splits, relatives, relative problems,

relationship problems with relatives. Ministry problems, stress, stress, stress. Anyway,

I don't think anything really quite prepared me as a young immature untrained woman to know
