The fastest way to lose in this game of life is to never open up God's word. It is the playbook,

the roadmap for a godly life. Every chapter you read is like a new page with heavenly ink,

which God organizes and categorizes in the library of your heart.

If your life depended on God's word, how often would you be caught not carrying me?

If you don't see this book, capital B, as the key to your life, it will be as dead to

you as any other book on your bookshelf which you haven't read in years. Oh yes, his word is a lamp

into your feet and a light into your path, but it is also the key to your whole life. I need

you to get to a place where you can't live without it. I need it to have no competitors. Let's

become a people of the book.

What's up, everybody? Welcome to the Leaders Cut. This is your first time joining us. Welcome to the conversation, where it isn't just you and me, and it's most certainly not just me. But the goal of our conversation and time together is that you and I would sit down at the table with the king of the universe, that we would invite the Spirit of God into our conversation

and that the voice you would hear more loudly than mine would be his. My words can't help you and they most certainly cannot save you. But if I do my

best to repeat the words I hear him saying, which I believe he desires you to hear, then all bets are

off. And today we're talking about what some I think could look like, look at and

approach to this conversation like, oh yeah, I get it. Preston, the Bible. Can I just say as we

enter this conversation, that's exactly how your enemy and God's enemies would love for you to

approach any conversation or thought about God's Word.

And quite possibly, this may be one of the reasons why much of the body of Christ is more disconnected from God's Word than they ever should have become.

So as we enter this conversation, let's make sure that we do so humbly

and with excitement to say, Lord, show us things we've never seen, truths we've seen, never seen

about your word, which has, have always been there, but things we are seeing for the first time.

So let's pray. Let's invite the Spirit of God into our time. Holy Spirit, we so badly need you in

this conversation. There is not a book on planet Earth. I love more than your book.
