I've got a gentleman coming on name, Davis Cartier, and he is going to talk about how he and his family built their own house.

And a lot of it DIY, some subcontracting dealing with all the crap with supply shortages, some of the crap with government,

though not that much, the reality of building on a property in a place like Upper Mishie, Minnesota, I'm sorry, where it gets really, really cold,

and having to make certain decisions toward getting into winter time and things like that.

It is a great discussion because it's just a regular guy without a lot of specialized knowledge or anything like that,

going through the process of building a home, which it worked out really well for them on the total cost side,

and on a lot of flexibility, and the ability to make some changes on the fly.

Also, we'll talk about things that like, you know, if I had that to do again, this is what I wouldn't have done,

or if I had to do again, this is what I would do differently.

I find that to be one of the most important things you can learn from a person who's done a project this big,

because someday you might do a project like this, and the thing that I want to know the most is the things that didn't work perfectly,

or the things that were bad, or the things that you would call a mistake, because you don't get a lot of mulligans and doovers

when you're committed to something like, you know, the foundation of a house.

So, I think this is an incredibly good conversation, and we'll get to it.
