Well, hi folks, this is Jack Spirco with another edition of the Survival Podcast.

There's always one man's view of the changing world, the changing times, and the things

we can all do to live a better life.

The day is Wednesday, August the 10th, that means it's interview day, and I've got a great

show for you today.

I have Chris Johnson, and he is a really cool guy, born and raised in Oklahoma, grew up

in the suburbs of Tulsa, and he just recently got finished building a house on Rawland.

They bought a piece of land and were already to build their house.

This was about a little of two years ago.

Guess what happened right in the middle of the project.

That's right, the COVID came, and all of the supply disruptions and problems along

with it, and that made the build take probably longer than it would have, and it caused some

cost that maybe wouldn't have been there otherwise, and some delays, and other things.

He learned a lot just from the project, and he learned a lot from the disruption, and

he did his project as kind of a hybrid.

He didn't build his own house, but he didn't just pay somebody to build his house.

He did a lot of things himself.

He contracted a lot of stuff out.

The stuff that made sense to DIY, he did, the stuff that did, and either economically
