What I've tried to do with the book, The Gospel-driven Church, is develop on some of the themes

that I've been speaking and writing on for the last 10 years or so related to gospel centrality,

specifically transitioning from an attraction or pragmatic consumeristic motive-doing

church towards greater centrality around the gospel. So about four or five years or so ago,

I had a book published called The Prodigal Church, which was largely a critique of the

attractional paradigm. I tried to do it in a winsome, gentle way, just think about these things,

consider these things, have some historical research, statistical research, those sorts of things,

but really just sort of stumping for a rethinking or a revaluation of the attractional model.

But there was really only one chapter in that book that kind of said, okay, well, what next?

I think it was titled The Way Forward or A Way Forward. And since the publication of that book,

I've just been asked by readers of that book, is there a way to sort of practicalize or turn

the misnomer or the misunderstanding of gospel centralities that it's against application?
