Summary

Today's show includes two fantastic guests: first Allison Baggerly, who not only paid off $100k on two teacher salaries but who also has become a ninja at budgets. She'll share tips from her Inspired Budget courses and website that you can use to begin setting up your own budget today. But that's not all! We also spoke with the host of Struggle Meals, Frankie Celenza, about how he's able to make great-tasting food for less money AND with less waste. He'll share tips about spices, salt, organizing your refrigerator, and more.

NOTE: On the live replay we experienced a few issues. We'll share one right at the top of the show (Doug's power went out immediately as we began--that stuff ONLY happens when you're live). We also realized while editing that you are hearing also Joe's channel, which includes links to backstage discussions. We've cleaned it up a ton and unfortunately, that meant cutting some discussions. Check out the YouTube video to see the entire show.

As always, you'll find show notes and links to Struggle Meals and Inspired Budget at our show notes page at Stacking Benjamins dot com.

0:28.1

our best one yet. You're about to hear the audio, but I would say that the audio is probably

0:32.6

two-thirds of the fun. The other third was just all the live chat stuff going on.

0:39.4

So we're going to do another one this summer, but today we're going to play a replay of this.

0:45.2

Now, if you weren't there, what you don't know is that the second that mom's neighbor Doug next door, socially distancing over at his house, began the show.

0:57.7

His power went out.

0:58.8

And his power ended up being out, by the way, for three hours.

1:01.0

But we had no idea what that was going on.

1:02.9

So at the beginning, you're going to hear this show gets off to an auspicious start.

1:07.9

We have no idea what's going on. And we're just trying to get the show rolling and then thank

1:15.1

goodness both of our guests, Alison and Frankie save us. But for links, by the way, to Alison

1:22.5

Baggerly's budgeting resources, she'll reference Frankie Chalenzas, great show, struggle meals, and more.
