The news out of the Middle East continues to be sad and very hard to read. And the news out of the House of

Representatives continues to be frustrating and hard to read. And the news out of the House of Representatives continues to be frustrating

and hard to read. But in two weeks, we have an election that could determine the right to

reproductive care for millions of Americans, not to mention book bans, what's taught in schools,

and so many other important issues. The stakes are particularly high in Virginia and Ohio.

So today I'll share my interview with Lily Franklin, a former teacher who's running for

delegate in Virginia's 41st district. But before we get to that, how are you, Amanda?
