When it comes to your spiritual life, you have to think of your spiritual life like a fireplace.

And if you put logs of wood on it, you will have fire.

If you don't put any wood on it, you will not have fire.

Now, to live on fire for God requires something from you. I want to speak to you right now how to build fire instead of building excuses.

Many people don't live on fire for God.

They don't build fire.

Instead, they make excuses.

They make a lot of excuses of why they're not on fire for God.

And I'm going to right now deal with these excuses and I'm going to also deal

with what you need to do to stay on fire for God. The scripture that I'm going to read is

Book of Acts chapter 28 verses 2 and 3. And the natives showed us unusual kindness for they

kindled a fire and made us all welcome because of the rain

that was falling and because of the cold. And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks

and laid them on the fire, a viper came out because of the heat and fastened on his hand.

I'm going to share with you three main principles about building fire.
