Welcome back to another kids short stories. Today's story comes from Anaya. Hi Anaya!

She left a review on our Apple Podcast with her idea for a story,

and today we are going to turn it into an adventure.

Let's go! Who who? What kind of animal makes that sound? An owl, great job, and this owl's name is Booho, which means owl in Spanish. Can you say Booho?

Can you say Booho?

Booho, good job. And Booh, good job.

And Booho is a barn owl who lives in the forest and is very fast and very good at hiding and

has very good eyes. He can see things from miles away and is actually very nice. His best friend loves to play right after she gets out of school.

And so he was waiting for the school bus to show up because that means that he could play with Anaya.

Anaya had just gotten off the school bus and Booho flew over and said,

Oohoo, whoohoo!

And Naya was so excited to see Booho, and that meant that they got to play today.

Today was a beautiful day. The sun was shining and it was nice and warm and they were going to go play in Anaya's backyard.

Sometimes when they play they like to sit in the grass and talk about their day or sometimes they like to

play hide and seek or search for new creatures or play in Anaya's clubhouse.

They love to do all kinds of things together.

But their favorite thing to do together is go on walks.

There was a special trail in Anaya's backyard.

They love to go on hike sun.

And Booho would follow Anaya and they just loved exploring together.

One afternoon it was almost dinner time so the sun was starting to go down and it was getting dark.

Anai's dad called her in because it was time for dinner.
