Hey, listeners. Before anything else this week, we want to acknowledge the heroes who have been protesting on the streets.

We do this show to talk about difficult topics in a silly way. There is nothing silly about what's going on.

History is happening all around us, and we stand with the protesters, and say the names of George Floyd and Brianna Taylor, and Ahmaudbery and Trayvon Martin and Eric Garner and

Sandra Bland and all the others who have lost their lives to police brutality.

In our show notes, we've put together a short list of just a few organizations that are doing

the work. It's incomplete to say the least, but it's a starting point if anyone needs one.

I have learned that despite everything, I usually think there's a class of actresses that if they do something, I will watch it.

And I have learned that even Laura Linney in quarantine is not enough to make me watch Ozark. I just won't watch it. And I have learned that even Laura Linney in quarantine is not enough to make me watch

Ozark. I just won't watch it. I'm just uninterested. And would you say Laura Linney was on your

list before that? Yeah. I would have said, oh, Laura Linney's in it. I'm going to go watch it. And not even

the power of Linney has been able to

draw me into Ozark combined with being cooped up in the house for now two and a half months.
