This is your old pal, the Proop Dog, and this is the smartest Proop in the world, Proopcast, coming to you live via recording from the inner depths of the ProopDome here in the bitter hinterlands of Western Hollywood, CA, and my beloved Lower California.

This is a taste tester to tide you over to the next Proopcast, which will be recorded live at the Bar Lubich, and the friendly confines there, the swanky friendly confines there on July 13th of this very month in the year of our Lord 2011.

Now we have some erratas, some addendum, and unfinished business, as we say, mostly questions that we receive, which by the way I encourage you to participate in the address, the email address.

I don't look at them beforehand, and I only skim these ever so briefly at the last Proopcast.

Here's the first one that I didn't get to.

Lenore, Leonore, Lenore, L-E-O-N-O-R, Lenore.

I think Leonore is a little too literal, and that would be like calling people named Leonard, Leonore, Leonardo DiCaprio.

Lenore asks, what question do you think everybody should ask themselves regularly?

Oh, kittens. You mean besides this one?

Well, that's a very interesting question.

First of all, I forget who was it? Socrates, perhaps, who said the unexamined life is not worth living?

It might have been Aristotle. It was somebody wearing a kite and a retoga. I'm almost certain of that.

Or it might have been Elvis, because I believe it was Elvis Presley who said, no thyself.

And I think examining your life is a noble ideal.

The problem with my examination of my own life is one, I like to think of myself as reassuringly shallow.

Intelligent. Oh, no question. I'm amazingly smart.

But I'm not that deep. I'm kind of horizontal. I'm sort of like a rain gutter.

I'm about this deep, but a lot goes through me, if you know what I mean.

So my problem with examining my life is I realize the horrible heinous things I've done in the misdeeds, the lies, the fabrications.

And this is before I was five. And then I think, no, I don't want to examine it that deeply.
