What you're hearing is me walking into an almost century old water reservoir

under the city of Houston called the Buffalo Bayou Park cistern.

It is a cavernous space with these repeating

columns and this kind of central sunken pit in the middle. It's quite dark in

We're room from the matrix it's it's a weirdly visually confusing space. It takes a minute

to get the scale and the size. That's what makes us so much fun. Yeah, that's cool.

Although it was once full of water, today the cistern is almost completely empty, transformed into this underground park.

Rosemary guided us on a tour and right away she showed me one of the coolest things about the place.
