with Maddie the Vixen and we're going on a buddy die.

Hi Maddie, how are you? I'm great and I'm so excited to do this new thing of yours called the Buddy Dive.

Yeah, so you're one of our first buddies,, you're the first buddy I have hosted.

Ooh.

And yeah, I'm pretty excited that that handle is reserved for fellow

podcasters.

And then I also have a DiveMaster series if you are the guru if I had Jordan

Peterson himself that would be the dive master series but the buddy dives are so

fun that that they're my faves and let's get to it. So let's start with

chapter number three. The title the chapter is make friends with people who want

the best for you. So my feeling, let me just set the stage,

what I felt like the overall theme of this

was that basically people in your life

can bring you down in two different ways by either pulling you down and

encouraging you one way or another to be a less good self or they can bring you

down by kind of sapping your energy and your productivity with a false kind of needy helper relationship.

I guess I would call that co-dependency, which I have heard that I have heard that I am have engaged in and once I was aware of that that I'm like not

doing anybody favors by overly soliciting I'm trying to that, but it can sneak up on you.

So he really gets into it and it's such an interesting good chapter and it wasn't what I thought it was going to be up front.

So I'm very interested in what you have to say about it.
