Well, hello again, world. Welcome back to golf subpar with Coltnost and Drew Stoltz.

Slazyman, you know, there's been a guy that has been a fixture at the top of the leaderboards

on the PGA Tour this fall, and he finally ended up the top man. Taylor Gooch picked up his

first W on the PGA Tour down at the RSM. Fear the Gooch. That's what the rest of the PGA

Tour is thinking right now. What if this kids had an unbelievable fall? I say Katie's 30

years old, he's paid his dues, he's played other tours coming out, took him a couple times

to get through Q school before he got corn fairy status, and now he's playing some

of the best golf on the planet. Six events this fall, he's played five times

inside the top 11. That's hard to do, and I just feel like it's just week after

week after week where you're more surprised when you don't see him up there than

when you are, and this is kind of, you know, we talk about the fall season,

it's not always the best fields of the year, but it gives guys a chance like

Taylor Gooch to come out and like really announce themselves on the PGA Tour,

because he's been a monster. Well, he has been a monster, and he is number

one on the FedEx Cup points list heading into the 2022 year. He is, it's going

to be interesting to see, you know, he was a guy, he was 51 in the official

world golf rankings heading into the RSM. He knew, you know, this is basically

the last event of the year to pick up world ranking points, getting that top

50 before the year ends, you get the invite to Augusta. He just went out and took

care of business and got the W pretty impressive, considering he, we had him on

our Series XM show, he knew where he stood, he knew he had to play well

this week. Yeah, it goes ahead and gets all the invitations, all the free money
