Good morning everyone and welcome to First things first.

We finally, finally have a weekend of football to discuss and what a weekend it was.

Let's get right into it.

We are going to start with the most hyped season opener in years.

I mean, how could it not be? That's what happens

when you got a matchup of 40-year-old starting quarterbacks of the two leading passers in NFL

history. Perhaps we all expect a little too much out of this game. That's what I always say about

hype, you guys. Brady came out a little rusty throwing two picks, including a costly

pick six. That Janoris Jenkins ran back. Brady would finish 23 of 36, 239 passing yards,

three scores, two passing, one rushing, and those two picks. Wasn't much better for Breeze either.

Just 160 yards passing and two scores.

But Breeze got something that Brady didn't, and that was a win. Bucks are 0 and one out of the

gate. Here is Tom Brady after an up and down debut. Yeah, it was just, you know, it felt like a

scrimmage out there, but, you know, obviously it counts.

And I think we're all disappointed. It didn't go our way. But the only people can do something about are the guys in the room. And we've got to look at each other in the eye and I'll work harder, put more urgency on the things we have to do. And, you know, get back to work and do a better job. you know when you don't play your best and you play good teams, you obviously get beat. And we played far from our best. So three turnovers, they didn't have any. We had penalties. They didn't have many. You know, we didn't have great field position. They had great field position. It's just all those things add up. And we've got to do much better job in every area.. All right Brandon, it might be a little early, but is it too early now to be worried about

Tom Brady in the box at this point?

Absolutely, it's only week one, Jenna.

Coach Manjini talked about it last week on our show Friday. He talked about continuity versus a lot of change.

And we saw that show up play after play last this past week, right?

So when you look at Tom Brady and Mike Evans, that's the first thing I was looking at.
