I am Patrick Murphy and we've got a bit of a different show today.

We are certainly going to talk some buck guys, but we're also going to talk a little bit about the rest of college

football, kind of what you should expect from

contenders other teams that could get in the mix that type of stuff we'll bring in our

guy Brad Crawford from 24-7 sports and CBS sports here in just a minute but I know it's a Tuesday.

I usually do these podcasts later in the week but we still have to have our happy hour beer.

So I've got a Bud Light here crack it.

We'll maybe take it a little slower than usual today,

but still in the happy hour spirit

as we talk some buck guys.

But let's get to it here.

Good to see you, Pat.

I'm ready for a exciting season with first year the expanded playoff which means

a crap load of SEC and big 10 teams at the end of the end of the year. Yeah, that's the way most people think it's going to go. But let me just start you off with an easy one on that topic. Will the Buckeyes win the national championship? Simple question. They're my preseason pick too. If I was Nostradamus I would say yes I would probably lay odds right now on Ohio State doing so. I'm sure we'll dive into why they will or won't in a bit but Ohio State on paper I think has the best roster in football and certainly the best on the defensive side of the ball.

Yeah, well let's let's go ahead and talk about the Buckeyes while we're on the topic.

Everyone and it's going to listen to this has heard Dave, Steve, and I talk a lot about it.

They've paid attention, everything going on here, but you have a different perspective coming from outside of Buckeye Nation outside of Columbus.
