We are halfway through Ohio State's 2022 season in college football, but guys have a nice schedule in terms of the way this all breaks down.

They're on their off week, they're by week, if you want to call it that, I know some people get frustrated with that.

So we're doing things a little different this week. I'm Patrick Murphy.

If you've been here before, you probably know the drill by now.

We'd like to have a little fun with this. We'd like to think of it as our own across the internet happy hour.

I've got a IPA that I'll sit on here from our friends over at Seven Sun, do a great job.

Today we're going to obviously talk some buck eyes, but I wanted, since it's the off week, the by week, to get a little bit of a bigger picture sense of what's going on in college football.

And then maybe a bird's eye view from from way up there on the buck eyes, halfway through the season.

So we're going to talk with Brad Crawford, our 247 sports national college football writer.

Thanks for having me, Pat. I follow Buck Nuts very often here at work and watch Ohio State every weekend being a top five teams.

So it's hard to believe we're already at week seven now with about seven regular season weeks left.

Yeah, I wrote at the beginning of the season right before the season started.

I think it was the Friday before the first Ohio State game.

I wrote this like message to Buckeye fans to try and enjoy this season as much as possible.

This could be a special season and it just always goes by so fast.

And you know, I feel like I haven't even taken my own advice.

I'm leaving the games each week and I'm like, I didn't even, I didn't even enjoy the fact that I'm going to sit there and watch these games for free and whatnot.

I'm getting paid to do this. It's awesome, but even I sometimes don't think to to enjoy it as much as I should.

Brad, you and I used to work a little bit closer together back when we were kind of co co running the Facebook pages.
