And yes, friends, we are merely 12 days away from Ohio State kicking off its 2022 season against visiting Notre Dame. Dave Biddle flies solo on today's show and gives his outlook on the OSU-ND clash, plus:
* The Buckeyes are favored by 15.5 points over the Fighting Irish. Does that sound about right?
* The over/under is very interesting at 58.5. We give some friendly advice there to anyone who dabbles in sports betting.
* Camp is winding down for the Buckeyes. The media will interview head coach Ryan Day and defensive coordinator Jim Knowles today. That will be interesting for sure.
* Who will end up being the best defensive linemen this season for Ohio State? Could it be the four second-year players?
* We haven't talked a lot about special teams. Let's change that. How will Emeka Egbuka do as the kickoff returner? Will Jaxon Smith-Njigba still be the primary punt returner? Might they rotate to some degree and also use Egbuka back there?
* It is the 100-year anniversary of Ohio Stadium and the 20-year anniversary of the 2002 national championship. Jim Tressel completely flipped the Ohio State-Michigan rivalry on its head and won a national title in his second season. We're big Tressel "Stans" around here.
