BTA Fridays takes a different connotation today.

My gosh, it was over before we knew it.

That last possession for Ohio State yesterday in the NCAA term was just unbelievably bad.

You cannot get the ball going backwards when there's four point seconds left,

4.1 seconds left.

And then the shot you get as a contested, like mid-court shot. Like, it's

unbelievable. And Jake DeBler, Jonah, struggles with this type of stuff. He's not a tactician.

I think he's a really good culture guy. He's a really good recruiter. He needs an assistant coach who's

a tactician because that was absolutely ridiculous. It was a product of an inexperienced coach where the moment got a little too big for him, Dave.

That was an atrocious call.

He explained it.

He said that they wanted Thornton to get to pass while sprinting and allowing him to make the final decision.

But to me, I don't have him inbound in the rock at all.

Like, let's get it to him that way and didn't just let him go.

And then he wasn't sprinted, so there wasn't any communication on it, but chucking it from half court with four seconds

to go.

I mean, when you look back at the way that the basketball team started the game, Dave,

first time that the team has been in a tournament in years, no urgency, just kind of getting

bullied by TCU, give them credit.
