0:29.7	1st, 2023, I am Dave Biddle, very happy to be joined by Dan Rubin. Second straight Monday,
0:35.4	I get to be joined by Dan, which is quite a treat. A lot to get into. We're going to get to the

0:44.4	talking about the draft. We'll get to that. But Dan and I both cut our teeth in the newspaper

0:56.7	the Buck guys. They landed two good players in the portal. One really good one that they needed
1:01.7	and they landed a running back in the 2024 class. Let's start with the portal. Josh Simmons is the
1:07.0	one they really needed. I'm not saying he's a superstar or anything Dan, but he played really
1:12.4	well as a registered freshman last year at San Diego State. He's in a coming here and he's going
1:15.6	to compete for a job at offensive tackle. We've been telling people in the Bucknuts Morning 5 and
1:20.4	on Bucknuts that they're going to land an offensive tackle and Josh Simmons was the one and great
1:26.2	get for the Buck guys. Let's start with that. Tremendous get. We've known for a while now that
1:32.9	Justin Fry was on it and Josh Simmons he knows well from his west coast stint with
1:41.5	UCLA and recruited him. If you look at the original offer list it's absolutely comparable to
1:49.8	an Ohio State player so that's good. This guy falls back into my ideal transfer window dude and
1:57.5	then I think he has three years of eligibility left and he's a high quality player. So like Davis
2:03.2	and Igbenos and this is a pretty much ideal fit. I think he's widely regarded as the best tackle on
2:09.8	the market. So you're talking about going to get in the best safety. In my opinion, John Carter,
2:14.8	the best corner long term in Igbenos and now the best tackle. I think you're going to expect him
2:20.3	to start at right tackle or at least be in competition for it. So Justin Fry told us if they
