Ryan Day made a splash hire on Tuesday when it was announced that former NFL head coach Joe Philbin will be joining Ohio State's staff as an analyst that will assist with the Buckeyes' offensive line. In addition to being the former head coach of the Miami Dolphins for 3-plus seasons (2012-15) -- where a wide receiver named Brian Hartline played for him -- Philbin is a longtime NFL O-line coach and offensive coordinator.
