Should Justin Fields have stayed at Ohio State this year?

Joshua Perry question, Spider-Man stuff and some Jim Noel stuff at the end that we'll get to, but let's dive right in and again, if you want to be part of this, I'll suggest it one more time.

I think it makes an interesting, I'm not going to say great holiday gift. I'm going to say interesting holiday gift. You go and you're stocking and you pull out a little envelope and like you open it up and it says, what is this and says subscription to Buckeye talk.

What is this? This is nothing. It's like, well, it was only four bucks a month. So you, my friend, I bought you six months worth for $24 and so here's 24 bucks go get signed up and you put your phone in and now you get the text all the time.

If you're desperate, right, there's some procrastinators out there. I know you people are procrastinators right now. You're desperate and you have it Ohio State fan in your life and you're like, oh my god, I forgot to get something.

This will seem like you put thought into it. Don't tell anybody right. They'll seem like, wow, what a creative gift. It's actually desperate Buckeye talk. So if you want to do it, give it a shot. Let's get to Michigan.

This is interesting, I think, because we're in an interesting world here and it's from it's the world where Michigan's in the playoff for the first time.

This is from the 614, this person asked like 11 questions and I love it. We're going to do their top two.

If Michigan wins a playoff game, is that good or bad for Ohio State? And if Michigan wins the national title, is that good or bad for Ohio State? I saved this from the last time Nathan, because I thought it was such an interesting thing to start with.

Either of those two scenarios does what Michigan does in the playoff. Does that have an effect on Ohio State?

I think it benefited Ohio State in a lot of ways when it was clearly the best program in the big 10. And if Michigan goes into the playoff and wins games and then especially goes on and we're to win a national championship, I don't think that's good for Ohio State.

I think it's better for Ohio State if Michigan loses as quickly as possible.

Steven, do you agree with that?

Yeah, I mean, it's better if Michigan doesn't win a national championship this year for Ohio State's purposes, but even if they do it, it can very easily just be a blip on the radar.

They are very similar to LSU winning a national title in 2019 and Alabama not being in the playoff, depending on how the years that follow go.

Now that's granted that some of the time side 2020, but still it can easily be that.

But yes, it's better if Michigan just doesn't win a national title so Ohio State fans don't have to deal with that.
