But for now, listen to these five headlines on what's going on with Ohio State football.

State of Ohio has introduced a bill to allow Ohio college athletes to make money off their name,

image and likeness, Doug Lamarice of Cleveland.com. Ohio State Senator Raj Antani introduced that bill

with Ohio State happily looking on this week. A news conference on Tonny and Ohio State

athletic director, Gene Smith. We knew this was going to happen. Listen, it's not a surprise.

It would have been a bigger deal if this didn't happen because all the states in the south were doing

it. Gene Smith admitted we all knew it. If recruits, we're going to commit to a school where in that state,

you could make money on endorsements and Ohio, you couldn't. That was probably going to be a little

edge, at least for a while. But now, Ohio is back to even ground with those states. So like, I

have to think people are making too big a deal with this, whatever. I mean, like, everyone's going

to wind up with the same general thing. The NCAA may act later this summer. There will probably be

federal legislation at some point. But the bottom line is Ohio got back to the same ground that

Florida and Georgia and Alabama are. And there's some details that matter. But in the end,

athletes finally are going to be able to make money off endorsements. And we knew it was coming.
