The game has been canceled. Doug Lé Maurice from Cleveland.com, the Ohio State Michigan game, the greatest rivalry in college football, played continuously every year since 1918, was cancelled on Tuesday because of too many positive COVID-19 tests in the Michigan

football program.

Michigan also did not play its game last week, so this certainly was a possibility, but still in a confusing pandemic football season,

knowing that this global pandemic has affected every corner of American life and life around

the globe, this still was a little bit of a shock.

Ohio State and Michigan will not play and this last week of the Big Ten

regular season, the Big Ten started play on October 24th and eight game regular season. The Big Ten started playing on October 24th and eight game regular

season with no wiggle room. They planned eight games in eight weeks. There were

no opportunities for makeup games. So once this game was in trouble there was nothing the big ten could do

Tuesday afternoon Michigan announcing it cannot play because of too many COVID-19 tests. So Ohio State still maybe a chance to play this

week but it will not be against their greatest rival. Again this game has been

played every year since 1918 and it will not be contested this year.

There will be no game in 2020.
