Buckeye Talk headlines after the NFL draft, right? The NFL draft just happened the first round

on Thursday, April 23rdrd this is what's going on

with Ohio State football. Ohio State football now has more first round

draft picks than any other program in NFL history. This is Doug Leamorese from Buckeye

talk from Cleveland.com. Three Ohio State Buckeyes drafted in the first round of the

2020 NFL draft. Chase Young, Jeff Okuda, Damon Arnet. That brings Ohio State's all-time

total to 84. That's now two ahead of USC. The two schools were tied going into

this year.

USC had one first rounder in Austin Jackson.

So you kind of knew this was coming.

USC has held the top spot for the last 35 years since 1985 USC has led college football in total first round

NFL draft picks. Ohio State has been slowly gaining Ohio State kind of had a lull in the 80s.

Only had five first rounders in the 80s,

but in the 90s, the 2000s, at least 15 first rounders

each of those years. And here we are in 2020 three buck guys in the first

round again the count now Ohio State 84 USC 82 and tied for third Notre Dame
