No Ohio State Spring Football game that was scheduled for Saturday, April 11th.

We knew that game has been wiped off the books for a while.

Basically all college sports have shut down for the

spring because of the coronavirus. But a reminder that the spring game at

Ohio State really is different than a lot of other places. Ohio State drew over 100,000 people for this spring game.

It's five bucks a pop.

You get to watch a team scrimmage.

It's a great opportunity for fans who maybe can't go in the fall, can't get tickets, can't afford it.

You get to be an Ohio stadium with that team.

So while it's just a practice, it really is a lost opportunity for fans to connect to the Ohio State football team.

The Buckeyes over 100,000 in 2016, 99,000 in 2015, 95,000 and 2009.

Last year they had over 61,000 people at the 2019 Spring Game.

That was third in the nation a year ago,
