Much to get to today.

Oh my, the vaccine situation.

We're already seeing how this is now going to be a central battleground of the election.

Now let's take a step back.

Shouldn't a vaccine be not about anything other than safety of the general public

and making sure that we have the best health outcomes possible for the most people?

Isn't this something that's above the usual partisan sniping?

Apparently not.

No.

In fact, what we see is that the vaccine has a tremendous

amount of pressure on it right now because the timeline of the election coincides very

much with the timeline of when we could theoretically either have a vaccine or even

the knowledge that a vaccine is approved and

forthcoming.

So there's going to be a lot of games that are played here.

There's going to be a lot of back and forth between those who want to make sure the American

people are as depressed as possible, who want to make sure that the American people feel like they have no hope,

they have no future, and those who are saying, look, we've gotten past the worst of this,

we're going to have a vaccine shortly, it's going to be approved, and COVID will be in the
