Alright, the travel band.

There is a new development in the Trump travel band situation.

Here's what it is.

A federal appeals court refused Thursday to reinstate President Trump's revised travel band saying it drips with religious intolerance,

animus, and discrimination.

The decision from the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in Richmond, Virginia was a setback for the administration's efforts to limit travel from several predominantly Muslim countries.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions said the administration would appeal the decision to the Supreme Court.

The court's, the lower court's vote I should note, was 10-3 divided strictly along ideological lines.

And who wants to guess?

Yep, that's right.

Three Republicans were in dissent.

Ten Democrats were, uh, part of the majority opinion here, which said that the, uh,

the ban will not be reinstated.

It's not even a ban.

It's a temporary cessation of travel from whatever six Muslim majority countries for a predetermined window of time while vetting procedures are tightened and scrutinized.

Um, you know, I hate to say it, but, you know, the British have got to be looking at their vetting procedures right now.
