Is Catholicism cool for young people out there these days?

Is it having a resurgence among the youth?

A topic that I wanted to get into with writer Aubrey Strobel, who joins us now.

She wrote a piece in the Catholic Herald that really caught my attention, really interesting,

why Catholicism no longer feels uncool in New York. And I wanted to chat with her about this, because, you know, Aubrey, by the way, the subheading is after years of quiet

observance, New York's Catholics are finding a renewed confidence to live and speak their

faith publicly.

You know, I'm noticing I'm down here in Florida.

I grew up in New York.

I'm in Miami.

There are more and more Catholic meetups happening.

And by the way, not like dating, just people who want to be with other young Catholics

and explore their faith.

More of the stuff happening in Miami

and the people are starting to see this here. So I think this is bigger than just New York,

but speak to it in the New York context of what is going on here with, again, younger folks

and Catholicism and this resurgence. What are you seeing? Sure. Thanks so much for having

And, yeah, Catholicism is live and well in New York City and across the world, quite frankly.

We've seen record numbers of conversions all over the world this past Easter.
