Let's dive into the Iran situation with a buck brief here.

Middle East, tensions on the rise.

Boy, that isn't the most overused headline, but with good reason, lots of problems over there.

This time, though, as I update you, American blood has been

spilled and here we're going to do a breakdown of everything that's going on. We lost two

soldiers. Pentagon has identified two U.S. service members killed in an Iranian drone attack on a base in Jordan.

First Lieutenant Tyler James Feehan, 25 from Hawaii and Private Isabella Gonzalez from Carrollton, Texas.

Both active duty soldiers supporting operations against ISIS when Iranian missiles and drones came raining down.

These young American heroes were doing the hard work overseas

of supporting military operations,

and they paid the ultimate price

because the Mullahs refuse to see sanity here.

This is not an isolated incident from Iran, of course, part of a pattern.

Tehran, the member of the old axis of evil continues to do what it does.

Death toll for U.S. forces in this flare-up remains low but it is

climbing with time and we mourn their loss and I wanted to start just by saying that our thoughts

of prayers are with them and their families and all those who we have lost in this conflict with Iran.

So now we get to the U.S. response.

The administration is hitting back hard.

No surprise there.
