Summary

Buck Sexton sits down with Lydia Moynihan of the New York Post for a wide-ranging conversation on the biggest stories dominating headlines. They break down the latest Epstein file fallout, media overreach, and the frenzy surrounding the Nancy Guthrie kidnapping case, questioning why wall-to-wall coverage continues despite few new developments. Buck and Lydia also dive into the SAVE Act, election integrity and the broader debate over transparency, accountability, and political narratives.

Just manufacturing delusion for those who, and some have actually managed to figure out

0:27.9

that it is a little bit of a cheeky rejoinder to a Noam Chomsky, Nome of the Epstein Files,

0:34.3

I might add, a Nome Chomsky book, and who is a godless communist who hates America. So this is a better book that deals with much more interesting things. We are joined now by my friend Lydia Moynihan. She is of the New York Post. She has also assured me that she will be buying a copy of the book, which is a smart thing to say to a podcast host before you're

0:54.6

going on his show. You don't want to go the other direction with, nah, I'm not really a reader.

So thank you for that. I appreciate it. Well, and thanks to Trump's economy, I can now afford

1:03.3

to drop 30 bucks on a book. I did see that eggs are down a lot from their high. So we got that going for us, which is nice, right? So now the hardcover or the audiobook, whichever, I like to sell those hard covers because, wow, hardcover books are kind of expensive. Like 30 bucks. It's a lot. That should be Trump's next focus is taking down the price of books. No, congratulations. Thank you. It is a mouthful. Like, I think that if I was to have a book, I would name it something really short that's like one syllable. So kudos to you for naming it something aggressive that you have to like constantly repeat. So I will tell you. I love the audio. Did you read the audiobook? Oh, I did the audio book myself. Yes, the audiobook.

But I, when I was going through this process, I wanted, the title that I wanted was just

1:57.3

manufacturing delusion.

1:58.4

And that was the first title that I wanted from the very beginning.

2:01.6

And it was one of these things where editors, you know, the publisher came along,

2:06.6

editors working the publisher, and we had to do this like, okay, well that's good, but let's go through.
