and doing so for Staten Island, no less.

got to give us the update and what's going on in America's biggest city.

Because I saw this and there was a part of me that thought

this can't really be real.

But there's a law, a city statute, right, that's under consideration,

city ordinance, whatever, that would mean

that members of the NYPD for any interaction,

direct interaction with the public while on duty would have to note the race, gender and age of the person they talk to?

Can you give us, first is that basically right?
