Tonight's podcast should we start It's just a magical design, you know? It's a magical design. It's a magical design.

3:08.8

All right. Tonight's podcast should we start with just 20 minutes on Chris Boucher's dunk on two bucks? You want to go with that? What do you think, Lee? You want to go with that big dunk? No. No. I've got to talk about bowl, bowl, ball, ball. Yeah. Throwing darts out there. We were waiting on the Nuggets Lakers game to wrap up. And, oh, boy, we were like, uh-oh, it's going to go to overtime again. It's going to be a late night here for bubble wrap. But no, Kyle Kuzma comes through in the clutch, game winning three with about 0.4 seconds left. And then I don't know what the heck the nuggets were doing at the end there. Hey, maybe they thought they had time to go for a quick two inside to bowl bowl and then maybe play the foul game with just 0.4. But yeah, anyway, I think they were sort of throwing it in there at the end. Lakers, though, did they get their mojo back here tonight, Tass? 124, 121 victory. They had lost three in a row. LeBron good game. You know, AD good game. Kuzma, great game. What do you think? They felt like they wanted this one a lot more than the Nuggets. I think that's safe to say. They did, but they weren't really giving it at the end on defense. They're playing OLA, and that's why these games are a little bit irritating. Even that point four seconds left you bring up, they're down three points the Denver Nuggets are, and they just toss it in. It seems like they don't want to give away their end of game plays. It seems like throughout the league, teams aren't really showing all their cards. That's my excuse for T.J. Warren tonight against Jimmy Butler. But hey, we'll get to that a little bit later. Yeah, the Lakers look fine.

3:13.3

I don't think they're really trying all that much. I think the story tonight is about the coups.

3:20.1

You know, I'm high on Kyle Kuzma being there in the end. I think they're still looking for the guys.

3:26.2

It'll probably be a game-by-game scenario where they find out who's going to play

3:29.4

alongside Anthony Davis and LeBron James.

3:32.4

And Kuz has been sort of the bright light in this dim light of a bubble for the Lakers who've been struggling.

3:39.6

I just, overall, I just don't think LeBron

3:42.9

cares until it comes to Monday. I actually do not agree with this take at all tonight. I thought

3:47.5

the Lakers were playing to win this game and trying to get some things going here, get an offense

3:52.1

that was garbage in this bubble going, get some confidence going a little bit. LeBron played 38 minutes, AD played 38 minutes, and on the flip side, the Nuggets played their star guys for a little bit, and then again, wave sort of the white flag for the most part. I thought they wanted it, Tass. I'm not sure I agree with the, you know, I get it from the big picture, like, does it really matter? Let's just not get injured. We're the number one seed. But there was something tonight from this team, I thought, was a little bit like, you know, we're on the late game here on TNT, the game leading into the record-breaking 12th consecutive bubble wrap. Let's put up a good performance because let's at least get a flow going. Lee, they wanted to snap that three game streak. That They'd lost three in a row. You're not having LeBron. And that was basically their closing lineup out on the floor for the last quarter, I think. LeBron and Anthony Davis were playing. The Nugget's second unit was playing really well, scoring the ball. And they will look at this game and think we should have won this one. So I think it was more Frank Vogel was saying, listen, we know we've locked up number one. We're not playing all that well though. LeBron, maybe he's got a little bit of a tweak in that groin. Maybe you wanted to stretch that out just to see how that's doing. And the Lakers just wanted to get back in the wing column. I think that's important. And I think going into the playoffs, you want to be playing well. And the Lakers hadn't been playing well.

5:20.9

So I think they absolutely went after this game tonight and got a really, really good performance from that second unit from the Nuggets, because Yokic wasn't on the end. It was Bowl, it was Plumley, it was Morris, it was Bates Diop, and the Nuggets gave them everything they could. So the Lakers pulled this one off.
