Summary

This week on The Blizzard with Seth and Babyface, things get personal—and a little chaotic. Babyface recounts a hilarious (and slightly painful) story about spending five hours filming his niece’s basketball game while his mother-in-law simmered in silent judgment. The guys also dive into the internet’s obsession with Sydney Sweeney’s latest dress, unpack why relationships with parents always seem to swing between extremes, and reveal details about their new card-breaking venture. It’s another mix of comedy, honesty, and unexpected tangents—just the way The Blizzard likes it.

What's going on? When's the last time we did this? Did you do the one with Bubba? Have we done one? We did. Yeah, Bubba and I were last week. And then. That was like, oh, because I had to go, was that last week? You had a doctor's appointment. Oh, this is when I got, oh, I got, this is when I got fired last week. That was the day you got fired.

0:21.0

Oh, wow.

0:21.2

Okay. The day you were set free, as I say it.

0:22.7

Welcome to the Blizzard, everybody.

My name is Seth Kushner, joined by Brian, the baby face matroni. Yes, I was working a car job in Orlando, a full-time job. I was going to do both and I got fired after a month. you know, they didn't really give me a reason why, per se. They said I kept messing up whatever that means. Nobody ever told me along the way that I messed up. But I did get fired. It did suck when I found that out last week or probably right around this time as I was, you know, taking a break from the doctor. And Brian was one of a few people, but he was the first one that kind of, you know,

0:56.5

and Brian and I, we've done breaks before, but Brian was one of the first people that said, you know, let's get these breaks up and going again. Let's try to make you some money and everything like that. People started getting excited, Brian, like Gababa and Gene and all that. I think they thought we were maybe starting like a brick and mortar store or something.

1:12.4

Yeah, I don't know.

1:13.2

I'm not looking to spend my nine to five in a shop. No, no. And I could take care of that. But everybody got really excited when they found out that you were involved somehow because of how smart you are. So they're like, oh, shit, man, I'll throw my money and let the smart guy handle it. So everybody got really stoked, but we're doing it on a smaller scale right now. And so I just wanted to say, you know, first off, I appreciate that. And when you heard that I got fired, what was your first thought? Because Bubba's first thought was apparently to call you and tell you. My first thought was that I was really upset for you. I knew how much you wanted this job that you had and that you were hoping that it was going to work out and be something big for you.

1:55.7

So I was upset about that.

1:57.6

I was confused based upon what you had shared with me, just from your

2:03.6

experience in our conversations as I was checking in on you. I was confused as to what they

2:09.2

possibly saw that could have led to that. Yeah. I think they saw a big dumb motherfucker. I'm guessing.

2:16.0

In speaking with you, but here's the thing, and you and I have discussed this, and I've listened to these, we've, I've do a lot of breaks.

2:23.8

I go into a lot of breaks.

2:25.2

I go into a lot of people's stores and rooms, and these bros that are doing it are ignorant dudes.

2:32.7

They only know current sports.

2:36.8

That's it. They do know the product well because they're opening a ton of it. So I do give them credit for that. But beyond that,

2:41.9

they're not personalities. And I get that the product is the product, but what's going to

2:46.4

differentiate your card-breaking company from every others.

2:54.2

And that to me is where all of them are missing out.

2:57.1

They don't have the personalities.
